Country Inns, now a successful chain with seven unique pubs, is well-known for its quintessentially English experience. Expect warm, crackling fires, character-filled corners, and beamed ceilings that whisk you back in time. The food is a delightful mix of traditional favourites served with a contemporary flair.
Back in 2007, Debbie and Duane Lewis acquired their first pub, the 17th-century New Forest Inn. They've since expanded their portfolio by adding six more pubs, each distinctly different but with one common feature – a Nelson glass washer and commercial dishwasher.
"When we acquired our first pub, we knew we needed a new glass washer," says Debbie. "We discovered Nelson in a trade magazine. Being on a tight budget and with modest initial sales forecasts, we weren't sure what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised. We received personal attention, a comprehensive site survey, and a recommended machine that was perfectly suited to our needs – no unnecessary frills or pressure to oversell."
As the Lewis' pub empire grew, Nelson remained a steadfast partner, always providing impartial advice and identifying the best pub dishwasher and pub glass washer solutions tailored to each location's unique requirements.
"Nelson's after-sales service is commendable," adds Duane. "Their response time to any issue has been incredibly prompt. Whether it's a warranty-covered problem or not, every issue is handled efficiently."
Having multiple pubs means a fairly high turnover of casual staff. On occasion, Nelson engineers have found that a machine hasn't been used correctly. In these instances, not only do they rectify the problem, but they also conduct staff training to prevent similar issues in the future.
As 2023 unfolds, Duane and Debbie are planning to add a new pub to their portfolio. "We're excited about our next venture," Debbie shares, "and, without a doubt, Nelson will be there with us, ensuring our dishes and glasses are sparkling clean for every customer."
