Nelson Glass & Dishwashers has launched the Advantage Plus AD51 ‘Ergo’, positioned somewhere between an undercounter dishwasher and a pass-through.
Ergonomically designed to avoid the need for the operator to bend, the machine features thermos-acoustic insulation, peristaltic pump-controlled chemical dispensing and top and bottom wash and rinse arms.
With a soft start for delicate items and an integral water softener, the Ergo includes a triple stage dynamic filter, seven wash programmes, stand by and self-clean functions, a self-diagnosis system with fault warning, and a thermostop for controlling the rinse water temperature.
MD John Nelson explained: “Back problems are the most common occupational ailment in the catering workplace. The Ergo provides an affordable solution for people who don’t need to invest in a pass-through but who want a comfortable means of loading and unloading a dishwasher.”
The Ergo lends itself to forming part of a dishwashing system with appropriate tabling and shelving – something usually only possible with a pass-through machine. It also features a base cupboard for storing baskets and chemicals.
