What is a water softener?
In hard water areas, a water softener is required to remove minerals from the water supply. Left untreated, these minerals can reduce the performance of your machine and cause long term damage.

Do I need a water softener?
If you are located in a medium or hard water area you will need a water softener. In soft water areas a water softener is not usually required - however, we recommend purchasing one if you wish to minimise the likelihood of limescale build up.
